Hannah House

After years of helping men get sober, Kim and Billy felt they needed to bring the InnerVisions’ model of recovery to women as well. Together they fought hard to open a women’s treatment centre, and finally in 2002 their efforts came to fruition when Hannah House opened its doors.

Hannah House: A Sanctuary of Hope and Healing

Having dedicated years to helping men achieve sobriety, Kim and Billy recognized a crucial need: extending InnerVisions' transformative model of recovery to women. Their unwavering determination led to the establishment of Hannah House in 2002, a sanctuary where countless women have found the strength to reclaim their lives from addiction.

Named for the Hebrew word signifying "grace of God," Hannah House embodies a profound commitment to empowering women. Our staff, comprised entirely of program graduates, understand the journey firsthand. They provide unwavering support and guidance, fostering an environment where women can rediscover their true potential.

At Hannah House, we celebrate the power of sisterhood. Through shared experiences and mutual encouragement, women uplift and inspire one another, forging a path towards lasting recovery. Every day, within these walls, lives are transformed, and the darkness of addiction gives way to hope, healing, and the promise of a brighter future.

Prairie House opened in Port Coquitlam as InnerVisions’ second treatment centre. Following the structure of the original Miller House, Prairie quickly became a well-oiled recovery machine. It has been the flagship of all men’s drug and alcohol treatment at InnerVisions for over a decade.

Miller House opened its doors in 1991 when Billy and Kim managed to scrape together enough money for half a month’s rent. It is the house where the founders of InnerVisions first saw their shared dream to create a safe place for addicts materialize.
