Our treatment program is designed to guide individuals towards a fulfilling and sustainable recovery from alcoholism and/or addiction. We introduce and utilize the Twelve Step Model of Recovery, a proven framework that fosters self-discovery, acceptance, and spiritual growth. Through this model, participants gain a deep understanding of their condition, recognizing and accepting their struggles with addiction.
We focus on developing effective coping mechanisms and relapse prevention strategies, empowering individuals to navigate challenges and maintain sobriety. A cornerstone of our program is fostering the realization and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle free from alcohol and drugs, emphasizing the importance of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our program focuses on:
We also support individuals in setting achievable employment and educational goals, enabling them to build a stable and rewarding life. Throughout the program, participants cultivate a strong support network of peers, mentors, and professionals, creating a foundation for continued growth and lasting recovery.
We're dedicated to helping you build a foundation for lasting recovery and achieve your goals. In some cases, clients may ask for an extension of time depending on their aftercare plan. We have access to private second-stage houses that are designed to provide structure and safety after the 60-day program with InnerVisions. As long as clients are making progress and adhering to the rules, they are permitted to reside there for up to two years.
To be eligible for our program, you must be over 19 years of age, have alcohol and/or drug abuse as your primary diagnosis, receive approval from our doctor regarding substance withdrawal and medications, be mentally and physically capable of participating in a residential group treatment program, and be fluent in English or have access to translation services.
Our residential treatment program is $250.00CDN per day. Price discounts and payment plans may be discussed with InnerVisions management based on clients’ financial situations. Fraser Health and government funding may be available for those who qualify.
Certain clients are required to be medically detoxed before attending treatment at InnerVisions. Detox requirements are determined by the individual health, using habits, and age of each client. During the intake process, our intake workers consult with our Addictions Physicians to determine the detox needs of each individual client. Clients who are required to attend detox prior to admission at InnerVisions can access a variety of resources. We can facilitate direct entry to treatment from detox so that clients can have the smoothest transition possible.
Wait times can vary from zero to a couple of weeks, depending on bed space availability and the severity of your circumstance. Our wait times vary based on individual client needs and barriers. Once a client is eligible for treatment, we do our best to make intake happen as quickly as possible.
Intakes take place from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM or unless otherwise scheduled ahead of time. If you do not arrive at your scheduled intake time, it is your responsibility to contact the intake office so that we can try to re-schedule your intake. Failure to arrive at your scheduled intake time can result in losing your bed space.
Please contact our intake office for more information or to update us on your arrival.
Our women’s facility is located in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
We can accommodate out of town clients with flexible intake times if necessary. However, we encourage that intake be done during business hours if at all possible.
Family and friends are not permitted to visit the treatment centres during a client’s stay. If a client needs to receive personal items or gifts, please do so through mail and do not personally deliver to the facility.
Our treatment program provides a solid foundation in recovery for those best served by a temporary absence from their present stressful environment and for those who require total immersion in a treatment setting. We have zero tolerance for drug or alcohol use after someone has been admitted into our program.
